Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Scope

This policy covers payments made to LanceFlow for our Pro plan subscription (₹699/month).

This policy does not cover payments processed through LanceFlow between freelancers and their own clients — those are commercial transactions governed by the freelancer's own engagement terms.

2. No Refunds Once Activated

Once your Pro plan is activated, the subscription fee is non-refundable. This is because:

  • The Pro plan unlocks all features immediately upon payment
  • You can cancel at any time and continue using Pro features until the end of your billing period
  • We do not auto-renew without explicit user action

3. Cancellation

You can cancel your Pro plan at any time:

  • Go to Settings → "Cancel plan"
  • Your Pro features remain active until the expiry date shown on your billing card
  • After expiry, your account reverts to the Free plan automatically
  • Your data, proposals, and clients are preserved — only the feature gates change

4. Exceptions

We may issue a refund at our discretion in the following cases:

  • Duplicate charge — same plan was billed twice in error
  • Service outage — significant downtime preventing reasonable use of Pro features (case-by-case)
  • Unauthorized transaction — payment was made without account holder's consent (must be reported within 7 days)

To request a refund under these exceptions, email harishviswanath017@gmail.com with your account email and Razorpay transaction ID. We'll respond within 3 business days.

5. How Refunds Are Issued

Approved refunds are processed via Razorpay to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Bank-side settlement times may vary.

6. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank without contacting us first, your account will be suspended pending resolution. We strongly encourage contacting us at harishviswanath017@gmail.com before disputing a charge — most issues are resolved in under 24 hours.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes apply to future subscriptions only — existing paid subscriptions are governed by the policy in effect at the time of payment.
